Dr. Coleen Kelly Mast, author, speaker and radio personality, currently speaks on family life issues throughout the world and hosts a syndicated call-in radio advice show on more than 500 Catholic Radio Stations via the EWTN network as well as on Sirius Satellite Radio 130.

After 15 years of sharing the week of advice shows with Dr. Ray Guarendi, Coleen began her own weekly two hour show entitled, "Mast Appeal" on June 7, 2014 broadcast live on Saturday mornings from 9-11 AM Eastern time on Ave Maria Radio and EWTN.

Dr. Coleen Kelly Mast, an author, lecturer and radio talk show host, was a pioneer in the field of chastity education. She shares her experiences as a teacher, mother, mentor and friend to help with family life issues throughout the country hosting a syndicated call in radio advice show on more than 250 Catholic Radio Stations as well as on Sirius Satellite Radio.  Mast holds an Honorary Doctorate in Humane Letters from Quincy University, a Masters Degree in Health Education, and Secondary teaching certificates in four specialty fields: Theology, Health, Physical Education and Science. She has taught at the elementary, junior high and high school levels, and has been involved in Family Life Education since 1975. Mast has written both the Love &LifeĚ and Sex RespectĚ chastity education programs which include books and videos for teachers, teens and parents, as well as the "Growing Up With Health and Virtue" Puberty video/discussion programs for parents with their pre-teens. Her newest program LoveEd is now available at, and includes 6 workbooks and 5 video-discussion seminars.

Mast is a popular speaker due to the enthusiasm and uniqueness of her presentations.  She includes a healthy and moral message in a practical easy-to-understand format.  Her words range from prudent and reverent to light and humorous, always respectful and moving toward the profound.  Her presentations have been described as affirming, dynamic, fun, uplifting, and sometimes even musical! Her Q & A sessions after the presentations take the audience into more depth as well.

Dr. Mast's family life programs have been sold in 26 countries and all 50 states. She has appeared on Oprah!, Geraldo, Mother Angelica Live, 60 Minutes, and Steubenville High School Youth Conferences. Mast has

trained teachers and catechists in 6 countries.

Mast has debated the Presidents of SEICUS and Planned Parenthood on television, and debated ACLU representatives on public radio, spreading the message of pro-life and authentic sexuality. She assisted with the writing of the 1990 USCC Bishops document on Human Sexuality Education, and in 1996, Mast was one of four US family life experts invited to the Vatican by the Pontifical Council for the Family to present at an in-depth study of ‚€úTruth and Meaning of Human Sexuality‚€Ě document when it was released. In 2011 she was appointed by the US Council of Catholic Bishops to serve a four year term on its National Review Board.

Coleen is married to Kent Mast. They have five grown children and live in Illinois.
